We offer a variety of billing programs and options, and are always
willing to work with you, your staff and patients to customize a
program that meets your specific needs.
Here
are several examples if we provide our equipment and personnel:
- We can bill patients and/or their
insurance carrier directly
- We can bill your practice a flat rate per
study
fee - You in turn bill the patient and/or their insurance carrier. Your
practice keeps the difference between our fee and what you recover from
the patient or their insurance carrier.
- If you or a colleague are qualified to do
your own interpretations, we
bill the technical component only, and your practice can bill the
professional component. If we provide personnel only, full day and half
day rates are available, and billed directly to your practice.

days from date of service unless otherwise arranged. We accept Visa,
MasterCard, Discover and American Express cards.

diagnostic ultrasound needs. For physicians not needing Sacramento
Imaging’s mobile ultrasound service, Sacramento Imaging has a
convenient Mid-Cities location offering full service outpatient
ultrasound. Appointments are available 6 days a week. A
valid,
written referral from your Physician, Midwife, Nurse Practitioner or
Physicians Assistant is required at the time of scheduling.Any of the
examinations offered with the mobile service can be performed at
Sacramento Imagings outpatient facility. Interpretations are
made
by a board certified Radiologist or Cardiologist, and preliminary
reports are available at the time of service. Reports are
electronically transmitted to referring physicians
A 30 to
50% discount is offered if payment is made in full at the time of

We will be happy to file a claim to your insurance carrier on your
behalf, however we are unable to extend a discount when filing
insurance. Keep in mind that if your insurance denies your claim, you
will be responsible for the non-discounted amount.

The provision of the study
interpretation is set-up by Sacramento
Imaging. In order to conform to current regulations this
relationship must be between your office and the reading
physician. However, Sacramento Imaging will assist
in setting up
this important facet of the service for your office and ensure that all
reports and information are delivered to your office in a timely
manner. Sacramento Imaging also provides all the necessary
supplies needed to perform this service in your office to
assist
in your patient scheduling and to help your patients better
understand the procedures to be
performed. Your office
will only be responsible for billing and scheduling, everything else is
taken care of by Sacramento Imaging. Sacramento Imaging
offers a
powerful combination of the most advanced Imaging systems and highly
trained, registered Sonographers right to your clinic or office setting.
